Most Haunted is arguably the biggest Paranormal investigation team to be created for television. Most Haunted could almost be called the creator of Paranormal Television - without their pilot in 2002, Ghost Hunters and other such shows, would never have been created without this catalyst.

Most Haunted is the brain child of Karl Beattie and Yvette Fielding, founders of Antix Productions.

And alongside it, is it's sister show Most Haunted Live - a live investigation, typically spanning over 3 nights, 3 hours a night however on several occasions, the pair have experimented with longer investigations (the 7 hour vigil in Eastern State Penn.) resulting in week long programs (Denbigh Asylum and New Year 2009). Over all there have been over 30 Live Investigations and 200 shows.
